In our God-centered worship, relationships with the Divine and each other are formed and deepened. Community of Christ has a free-form worship tradition with few prescribed words or required action. Music, scripture, meditation, prayers, and fellowship can all be found.
As God lovingly made each of us unique, we recognize that individuals relate with and worship God in different ways. We begin to experience the peace of Jesus Christ as we are being reconciled to God, to others, to ourselves and creation. We hope you feel welcome during your first visit. Here is some basic information to help you feel more comfortable.
Where to go When You Arrive
The front doors are the main entryway to the church. It is accessible for wheelchairs, and is completely level. From there, go straight ahead and to the left is the sanctuary for worship services. Turn to your right to go down the hallway to find our church school classrooms, restrooms, kitchen, and dining area.
What to Wear
Dress on Sunday leans toward casual; however, you will find people dressed in their Sunday best and others in blue jeans, t-shirt, and flip flops. Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable, we are just glad you came!
